American Beech is often overlooked and underrated as a utility hardwood, but because of its durability and low cost, Beech can be exceptionally valuable for woodworkers.

Some pieces of Canarywood can be almost rainbow colored—with dark red streaks, along with the natural orange, yellow, and brown coloration. Canarywood is easy to work with both hand and machine tools. Good dimensional stability. Turns, glues and finishes well.
Poplar is easy to work with, so it's a great wood for beginner scroll sawyers. It cuts and engraves with a laser well, and takes paint very well.
10 and 12 inch widths available
Curly Maple is Maple wood with a unique wavy, curly figure to the grain. The ripples in the grain pattern create a three dimensional effect that looks like the wood has 'curled' along the length of the board. The figure is most noticeable after a finish is applied. This is a medium figured wood, and some boards may be brown in color.
Quarter sawn White Oak is simply White Oak that has been cut from the log at a different angle. It has a finer texture and a dramatic flaking figure running perpendicular to the grain.
